Tao holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering and is the co-founder of a hedge fund in China that specializes in quantitative trading across diverse financial markets.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Tao is deeply passionate about education. She is a licensed educator in Massachusetts, certified in Digital Literacy and Computer Science. Currently, she serves as the president of a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the district high school debate team.
